Hi, I'mNaheda

I’ve closed the deals, built the operations and backed the founders. Twelve years in tech, from multiple angles.

At Miniclip, I negotiated multi-year, seven-figure partnerships with top international sports clubs and leagues. At Transcend, I backed early-stage founders and co-built the fund’s operations. Most recently Chief of Staff to the CEO at Hatch Blue, a global company with three business units and competing P&Ls. I shaped company strategy and built the operating infrastructure to run it. I also took on the projects nobody owned, from setting up marketing to running company-wide AI adoption.

  1. Hatch Blue

    November 2024 - September 2026, Berlin

Chief of Staff and trusted partner to the CEO. Venture capital, consulting and innovation firm backing sustainable seafood and ocean technology. 35 people across three business units spread globally.

    • Co-led the close of a multi-million raise into the holding company from term sheet to IC approval in three months; owned the investor narrative, data room and diligence process end to end.
    • Turned the CEO’s strategy into a written plan and built the system to run it: OKRs, business reviews and a redesigned board pack in one AI-automated quarterly cycle that runs without me. The board praised the new packs and meetings shifted from updates to decisions.
    • Led the renewed tech stack for AI adoption; rolled out Affinity CRM as the company’s source of truth for its network, surfacing cross-selling opportunities in real-time with data. Adopted by all three units, it became the first non-VC use case Affinity had seen.
    • Centralised the marketing function, set its structure and hiring plan, and ran a hybrid team through the interim while recruiting the permanent lead. The function hit its best results to date: record newsletter sign-ups and 6.9% LinkedIn growth in three months, ahead of every competitor.
    • Built the people architecture for a global hybrid company: six-level job framework, compensation philosophy, performance review cycles, retention plan, and salary benchmarking across 5+ geographies; 32 roles mapped to a level, improving company culture and reducing hiring process time.
  2. Transcend

    Jun 2022 - September 2024, Amsterdam (Remote)

Early-stage venture fund investing across the gaming ecosystem, founded by industry operators.

    • Co-built the fund’s operating infrastructure from scratch including deal flow management, investor communications, and brand marketing. Established a scalable framework to support the fund’s growth.
    • Sourced and led a $2.2M round in Cosmic Lounge, one of the first AI-native mobile games studios, during a downturn, then helped the founders secure pre-emptive term sheets six months ahead of the next raise.
    • Led the fund’s inaugural investor and founder summit in Napa Valley, California, hosting 50+ investors over three days.
    • Screened and diligenced investment opportunities, monitored portfolio performance, and supported the Managing Directors on fund strategy through a downturn.
  3. Miniclip

    February 2016 - May 2022, London

Global games company, 400+ people. Rose from intern to Lead BDM in six years, reporting to the CCO-turned-CEO and rated “Outstanding” twice, placing me in the top 5% of the company.

    • Secured the publishing deals behind the company’s top revenue-generating games, owning each one from sourcing and ROI modelling to post-launch reporting.
    • Led a 24-month sports licensing strategy across the group, closing a seven-figure multi-year partnership with the NFL Players Association and licensing deals with the likes of Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester City and more.
    • Ran monthly investment reviews with C-level and directors, and turned early ideas into fully researched, revenue-modelled proposals that won sign-off from the CEO, CFO and CPO.
  4. Bizzby

    October 2014 - November 2015, London

On-demand services startup (B2B2C). Part of a small ops team keeping the live marketplace running, from customer service to new vertical expansion.

    • Helped shape the strategy for UK expansion across multiple service categories, and secured partnerships with providers including Milk Beauty, Veego Personal Training and AnyClean.
    • Designed and ran a marketing campaign that grew new client registrations by 300%.
